CAR PARK
Competitors may use the lower and overflow car parks. Please obey the instructions of the car park attendant. The Scottish Golf Union and Royal Dornoch Golf Club cannot accept responsibility for any damage to cars.

CATERING
Coffee, morning rolls and full breakfasts will be available from 0615. Bar snacks and full meals will be available from 1100 until 2130. All catering is at competitors own expense.

CLUBHOUSE
The clubhouse will be open at 0545 each day. Competitors, their families and guests are permitted the use of the clubhouse facilities.

Casual wear is acceptable but must be smart. THE WEARING OF JEANS, DENIM TROUSERS, SHORTS, SLEEVELESS OR COLLARLESS SHIRTS, SHELL SUITS AND TRAINING SHOES IS NOT PERMITTED.

MOBILE PHONES ARE PROHIBITED IN THE VICINITY OF THE CLUBHOUSE AND COURSE.

No one under the age of 18 may consume or purchase alcoholic drinks.

Changing facilities are available in the gents locker rooms. Coin operated lockers and showers are available, competitors should bring their own towels.

With the exception of the gents locker rooms metal spikes are prohibited in the clubhouse. Soft spikes may be worn throughout the clubhouse.

CADDIE CARS, YARDAGE BOOKS AND CADDIES
The professionals shop has a supply of trolleys for hire on a first come first serve basis, cost £3 per round. Yardage books will be available for purchase from the Professionals Shop, cost £5.

COURSE AND PLAY
Competitors must report to the Championship Office at least 30 minutes prior to their starting time. Starting times are shown in the official draw sheet. Each competitor will be issued with a copy of the local rules, pin positions and pace of play guidelines when registering at the Championship Office.

THE WEARING OF JEANS, DENIM TROUSERS, SHORTS, SLEEVELESS OR COLLARLESS SHIRTS, SHELL SUITS AND TRAINING SHOES IS NOT PERMITTED. Shorts are permitted if tailored.

COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL STARTER AT THE FIRST TEE 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE DUE TO PLAY.

When a match is over, play must stop and the winner report the result without undue delay to the official recorder situated in the SGU Championship Office.

INSURANCE
Your entry fee includes cover in respect of legal liability in the event of them causing injury to another person or damage to a third party property. An excess of £15 will apply.
PRACTICE
Royal Dornoch GC has kindly granted courtesy of the course for one practice round on Saturday 28 July from 1500 or Sunday 29 July between 0900 and 1700.
Competitors unable to practice in this period may look to use their one courtesy practice round at a mutually convenient time with the Club. Additional practice rounds will be charged at green fee of £100.00 (Monday - Friday) or £110.00 (weekend). All bookings for practice times must be made in advance by telephoning Royal Dornoch GC on 01862 810219 Ext 1.

General Practice Conditions
Competitors must report to the professionals shop prior to starting their practice round.
Competitors may play from the championship tees.

Other than in accordance with the Rules of Golf, a competitor in a practice round must not have more than one ball in play - exception - if a player misses the green with his shot to the green he may play one additional shot.

PRACTICE FACILITIES
A full practice ground is available at the bottom of the Struie Course which competitors can drive to but please beware of golf in progress en-route.

Practice balls are available free of charge. PRACTICE BALLS MUST NOT BE REMOVED FROM THIS AREA UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. A player seen taking balls will be liable to disciplinary action by the Championship Committee.

Players must only use the practice balls provided and play from behind the white line. Please obey the instructions of the range attendant.

Outwith the above times competitors may practice but are required to supply own practice balls.

The practice putting green is adjacent to the 1st tee. COMPETITORS ARE PROHIBITED FROM CHIPPING ONTO OR AROUND THIS GREEN.

PRESENTATION
Bronze medals will be presented to the losing semi-finalists at the close of play on Friday 3 August. The Championship trophy and finalist medals will be presented at the close of play on Saturday 4 August. Medal winners are expected to attend the relevant prizegiving.

RESPONSIBILITY
Royal Dornoch GC and the Scottish Golf Union cannot accept responsibility for players’ property.
